I recently stumbled across a great website: the (UK-based) e-Learning Centre . Not only does Jane Knight put a very good site on e-learning, with all kind of valuable information. She does also put forward a great list of programs and Web-based services which may be useful to both an “e-learner or e-tutor”. Check here to see and learn.
Of all the services listed, I have shortlisted a few:
Diigo: highlight, comment, bookmark, and forward text from any Web page; {{::seems a great concept::}}
Jybe: a plug-in that brings real time collaboration to web based systems and content;
Rollyo: roll your own searchroll;
Webnote: a web-based notes system.
