Iran & Chomsky

The crisis with Iran is mounting up, and we are left powerless to watch its development. However, there is today a very good article by Noam Chomsky (the noted MIT linguist and philosopher, www.chomsky.info) on The Guardian. It resumes the history of the last 50 years,

ever since a US-UK military coup overthrew the parliamentary government and installed the Shah.

Interestingly, the position of the US in 1976, when Kissinger was Secretary of State and Iran was an “allied country”, was 180 degree from today’s.
