Poetry by captions

I love constraints
They foster creativity. Here I got the idea of using the captions from flickr photos as lines to compose a short poem. It’s all humanity inside these lines. No other words nor anything artificial added.

Read the poem first: Text only will offer one view. The photos later will almost certainly change it. Ah the Internets!

PLEASE COME BACK I AM SORRY ABOUT WHAT HAPPENED BEFORE
The doctor says I am ready. (For the last time)
Like the Flowers I Am Fading
I Don’t Know How Old I Am
go on, i am listening

Got it? Yes, a cc search on Flickr for “I am”.

I agree with my man Hector, this is awesome, and I am glad I bookmarked it. This is an amazing assignment for anyone, but #ds106 will definitely be stealing it.
