Apple snobbish at Google’s voice-recognition app?

Update On Google iPhone Voice Recognition App: Look For It On Monday

Google’s voice recognition search application for the iPhone, originally set for launch on Friday, will likely go live sometime Monday, we’ve heard from a source with knowledge of the situation.

If this is true, it would mean somehow Apple is snobbing Google’s effort at pushing customers toward the iPhone and not the G1. Google’s voice recognition sofware seems of excellent quality and would double Apple’s iPhone sales instantly. It would mean one could search by speaking! And much more, for sure… in the very next future a virtual assistant may come out of this!

Now, a small thought: wouldn’t Apple & Google make a nice marriage? Different views on certain subjects will make an excellent source of energetic discussions, and a lively future!

But what? Why wouldn;t Google wait and present this software for its own G1 phone? It may be, because Google wants to address customers first, and push selfishness aside. In any case, G’s position is very string: no matter how you look at it, Google is a winner!!
