OOPS! While upgrading to WP 2.6 I must have LOST all my posts and link categories. ALL. Transformed to blank. What can I do, or undo? Will I ever be happy again?
UPDATE!!
Mario Nuñez handed a solution to the problem, arising from an update from an earlier version to WP 2.6. Effectively I had lost all my categories, but thanks to his comments and to the solution explained by nideaderedes.urlansoft.com (and some PHP hacking I had to improvise!)… I was able to restore the lost data from a backup copy of the database.
In the process, though, I lost (!) the last three posts (which I had to restore manually), and Mario’s comments (which however were put to good use!)
